Your site’s page templates will have certain text “fonts” set within them. These will typically have been agreed as part of the overall design discussion, and are protected from change by you. WebTemplate’s “text editor” provides some control of text attributes (bold, italics, bulleting and numbering). HOWEVER, we recommend that you use these controls with care; the way the text “looks” is a very important aspect of the overall experience of people visiting your site.

A WARNING ABOUT “Cutting & Pasting” TEXT

Cutting & Pasting from “Word” or other applications (that have their own particular way of “formatting” text) is NOT RECOMMENDED. The invisible “formatting code” that is copied with the visible text can cause quite spurious results. Either retype the text directly into the Content Block of your site or, use the “Paste as plain text” feature  supplied in our text editor.
